RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

EcoCore Trading CC t/a Core Pack

1. INTRODUCTION

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made from
EcoCore Trading CC t/a Core Pack (“Core Pack”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) via
https://www.corepack.co.za

This Policy must be read together with our Terms & Conditions and is drafted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).

2. COOLING-OFF PERIOD (DIRECT MARKETING)

In terms of the CPA, where goods are purchased as a result of direct marketing, customers may cancel the transaction within 5 (five) business days of delivery.

To qualify:

• Goods must be unused
• Goods must be in original packaging
• Goods must be in resalable condition

Return shipping costs will be for the customer’s account unless otherwise required by law.

3. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT GOODS (CPA – DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS)

In terms of the CPA, all goods supplied carry an implied warranty of quality for a period of six (6) months from the date of delivery.

Due to the nature of our products as disposable food and gift packaging, this warranty applies only to defects that existed at the time of delivery, including:

• Manufacturing defects
• Incorrectly supplied items

This warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear and tear
• Single-use or consumable use
• Damage occurring after opening or use
• Improper storage or handling
• Hygiene-related contamination
• Exposure to food, liquids, heat, or moisture after delivery
• Products that have been altered, used, repackaged, or distributed after delivery

Where a valid defect is confirmed, customers may choose (as provided for under the CPA) between:

• Repair (where applicable)
• Replacement
• Refund

4. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

Change-of-mind returns are accepted only if:

• The product is unused and undamaged
• The product is returned in its original packaging
• The return request is made within 7 (seven) business days of delivery

Unless required by the CPA:

• Return shipping costs are for the customer’s account
• Original delivery fees are non-refundable

5. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items may not be returned unless defective or incorrectly supplied:

• Disposable packaging that has been opened or used
• Food-contact packaging once opened
• Custom-made or made-to-order items
• Personalised products
• Clearance or discounted items (where clearly indicated)
• Items damaged through misuse, negligence, or improper storage

6. DELIVERY DAMAGE

If your order arrives damaged:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide clear photographs of:
  • The damaged product
  • The external packaging

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect eligibility for a return, replacement, or refund.

7. RETURN PROCESS

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

8. REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

9. SHIPPING COSTS

• Shipping costs are refundable only where required by the CPA
• Where a return is due to our error, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by Core Pack
